AWS, Empire of Cloud Service!

 

AWS(Amazon Web Services) keeps global number one position in cloud industry over +10 years, and I've utilized AWS over +10 years as well. First time I heard Amazon Cloud from internal software engineer, and he explained basic features and cost policy.

 

AWS has kept the leading position in Public Cloud market compared with MS Azure and Google GCP over 10 years, but recently MS Azure took about 20% in 4Q 2020 at first time.

Then I've adopted Amazon Cloud into global mobile application services and global e-commerce platform, so these projects became more complex because it needed to combine internal ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) system, Account & Firewall systems.

 

It means that my projects for global mobile apps and e-commerce are hybrid cloud mixing public cloud(AWS) and internal cloud(ERP/Account), but it gives me better experiences to manage Amazon cloud with more powerful AWS features.

 

 

I experienced other 3rd party cloud recently, but existing AWS architecture with ERP/Account systems was to be real guidance to them.

Finally, most current global e-commerce project is back to use AWS again, and I think that it will be right decision, but I am not sure that new engineers have enough experience about combing ERP/Account based on hybrid cloud.

I just remembered that explanation from an engineer about 10 years ago, he told "Amazon begins very interesting business which is rent server to anybody based on certain spending cost." And I recognized that it make really sense to everybody, because I had always big headaches about building & operating cost of data center.

I respects Jeff Bezos and Amazon executives, because they have good in-sight and strong gut to win real market.

One more thing is that even Amazon AWS is so powerful to e-commerce, but it is not easy to built e-commerce service on the spot.
