A Netflix original film called "JUNG_E", a sci-i genre drama set in a sparsely populated area of Korea, was recently released.

What is notable is that the pairing of Kim Hyeon-joo as the lead and director Yeon Sang-ho garnered interest.

It is filmmaker Yeon Sang-ebut ho's science fiction movie; he previously directed the dramas "Save Me 2" (2019)", "Method" (2020) and "Hell" (2021) which all surpassed 10 million viewers. As an OTT-optimized director with popular and provocative subjects like violence, superstition, and damnation, he is getting a love call from Netflix.

In general, dystopias based on the idea that the future of humanity is grim feature many humans suffering at the hands of machines and artificial intelligence in science fiction films.
