[네이티브] 구동사: start/ finish/ move/ put

네이티브가 사용하는 프로젝트 설명에서 많이 사용하는 구동사입니다.

 

프로젝트를 시작하고 (start over), 어떤 태스크를 끝내고 (finish off), 진도를 나가고 (move forward) 있는 상황이고,

주로 문서 작업에서 내용을 합치고 (put together), 현재 버전을 활용하는 (put across) 의미로 사용되네요.

 

 

1.    start over:  다시 시작하다

 

If you're unhappy with your stats you can always delete them and start over.

 

2.    finish off:  마무리하다 

 

Powder will finish off your base by removing shine.

 

3.    move forward:  진도를 나가다 

 

They can move one space forward at a time, with the exception of their first move, when they can move forward two.

 

4.    put together:  합치다  

 

You do more work than the other two girls put together.

 

5.    put across:  활용하다  

 

Show the ability to put the salient points across in a few words.
